This is a damn ripoff this work exactly like your other DJ app that I pay $10 for, why do I have double up on my space to play my own damn music. You claimed that you can play iTunes music, u never said you have to import it. Everything work like DJ Mixer Pro, that I already have. I need my money back. Wait until I can give my review.
The sound is far superior to that of DJ Mixer. If you have plugged into any type of external speakers and used the EQ, resonant filters, and scratching features you would hear that the Waves audio engineering really makes a difference. Try using the mixer a bit more before you decide to trash it.
No MIDI-controller support? I like the headphone solution, but I want the option to go bigger when necessary!
Currently Mashup does not support MIDI controllers but we would like to know in what ways would you incorporate MIDI with our app. What would you expect from this integration?
Remember your feedback always makes a difference
Have a great day
I plan on getting the Numark iDJ Pro when it hits the market; having the ability to work with a physical controller would free up more space for the effects manipulation on the screen. Also, the standard output options would be desirable. As a professional mobile DJ, I like have multiple options for handling clients; it would be awesome if those options included being compact yet capable of expansion.
Honestly i am really really amaze in this dj mixer which give a lot of happiness now. Thanks for this info.
I want to buy this but I’m scared if it is like all this other dj apps that are worth $10 or $15. This app is $20 and it’s expensive for something that will be the same as other dj apps
Thanks for your interest in Mashup. Currently, Mashup is priced at the same level as other DJ apps.
However, Mashup includes unique features other DJ apps do not offer, such as pro-studio quality filters and EQ, unique headphones monitoring solution (requires an additional iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch device), and offers free music downloads from top DJs Junior Sanchez and Kris Menace. We hope you enjoy it!
The sound through the headphones sounds very, very poor… to much distorted and it has to much latency. I tried wifi and Bluetooth (separate) and still no difference. I cannot work without a good working headphone option. I am very dissapointed want my money back…
Hello Robin, we are so sorry you are dissatisfied with the app! We put a great amount of effort into making it the best app we can and are proud to say many many users absolutely love it!
The problems you have indicated are unfortunately inherent problems with WiFi and Bluetooth. We have discontinued ongoing development of these features due to their reliability issues and, as you noticed, latency problems. However, we have introduced an exciting new feature into the DJ Mixer app that enables full stereo headphone monitoring wirelessly via USB or HDMI audio outputs. If you wish to output audio, I am sure this unique feature would be more than adequate. To learn more about our DJ with Headphones feature, click here.
We apologize for any inconvenience, but WiFi and Bluetooth are just too unreliable for the standards of streaming in Mashup and DJ Mixer. If you would like a refund, please contact the Apple App Store where you made your original purchase.
Why is my post deleted? I am very disappointed in this app.
The cue headphone function through Bluetooth or wireless on the iphone is terrible and tried both (and deactivated the other) with the only result of a lot of latency and distorted sound open the headphones. Is there a solution? Otherwise I want my money back and a refund!
